I’m a Berlin-based journalist and broadcaster with more than 20 years of experience covering Russian politics, media transformation, and human rights.

I served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Echo of Moscow, where I also co-anchored the station’s flagship morning show. Alongside my work at Echo, I collaborated with numerous independent and international media outlets, contributing reporting, analysis, and commentary.

Today, I work with European newsrooms — including Deutsche Welle and independent Russian media in exile — focusing on propaganda analysis, disinformation, and the impact of war on society. I also co-host several podcasts and live shows, lecture on media regulation and press freedom, and advise editorial teams on storytelling and newsroom strategy.
